Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. She has produced many studio records. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement, and was among the pioneers to establish her own label the year 1990. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 her parents Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who made acquaintance while studying at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
