Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. She has released more than 20 albums. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk and alternative rock but also has influence from hip hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was among the first musician to start her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who was introduced to Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother is from Montreal and her father has Italian descent. Ani DiFranco wrote and sang 32 Flavors. The track was first released in 1995 on the sixth album Not a Pretty Girl. It was featured on the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a version of the song. DiFranco issued an apology in 2013, after it became clear that she'd set up a three-day workshop on the Louisiana plantation. The workshop was cancelled, however, she did not express any regret.
