Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. Her albums span over 20 years. DiFranco's songs are classified as folk and alternative rock. They also contain influences from jazz hip-hop punk and funk. Ani diFranco was the first person to create her own record label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was of Italian heritage and her mother was originally from Montreal. Ani diFranco composed and performed the song 32 Flavors.
