Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - an Canadian and American musician and singer. Her work has been featured on more than 20 studio albums. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk and alternative rock. But, they incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz and punk. Ani Difranco has been deemed as a feminist icon and a Grammy award winner. Being one of the women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco founded her record label. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco.
