Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian artist and singer. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. Her music is classified by DiFranco as alternative, folk rock, but it also has influences of jazz and hip-hop. Ani diFranco was the first musician to start her own label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco is the son of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They began their relationship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
