Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian singer-songwriter. She has more than twenty albums. Her music is classified as folk and alternative rock but has additional influences from hip hop, punk and jazz. Ani DiFranco is the first artist to establish her own record company in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in New York City, York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who had the pleasure of meeting Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian descent, and her mother hails from Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and performed 32 Flavors. The song was released on her upcoming album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995.
