Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian singer-songwriter. She has more than twenty albums. Her music is classified as folk and alternative rock but has additional influences from hip hop, punk and jazz. Ani DiFranco is the first artist to establish her own record company in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in New York City, York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who had the pleasure of meeting Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian descent, and her mother hails from Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and performed 32 Flavors. The song was released on her upcoming album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. A version of the track is featured on the movie soundtrack for the 1999 Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate. In 2013, DiFranco apologised after it was announced the fact that she had planned a three-day workshop at a former Louisiana slave farm. The workshop was cancelled, but several (including the author of this article) did not show any remorse. DiFranco apologized a couple of days following. She is known for her Little Folksinger, but she's performed with many musicians and genres from Pete Seeger to Chuck D. She lives in New Orleans. Ani diFranco as well as Kristen Ford are together. The first song she wrote was at the age of fourteen. She would perform them at bars and cafes throughout her teens. DiFranco started taking courses at Buffalo State College at age 16 after graduating from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. The new baritone she got was customized by Alvarez built by Chrys Johnston, who at that time was working as an Alvarez Artist Rep. The guitar is equipped with their System 600 preamp and has an all-solid wood construction, with a cedar upper mahogany back and sides, and an Ebony fretboard. Brandy (You're an A-Fair Girl) was a single released in 1972 from the American pop group Looking Glass from their debut album Looking Glass.
