Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - an Canadian and American artist and singer. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk-rock and alternative rock but includes influence from hip hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to launch her own record label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced in their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father had Italian ancestry and her mom was a Montreal native. The song by Ani, 32 Flavors was written by her and sung by Ani. The song is from her 1995 album Not a Pretty Girl, that was her sixth studio album. A variation of the song is featured on the movie soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romance film Better Than Chocolate.
