Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural & The 100. Her family moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
